Marianne Amelinckx
Queer Venezolana based in Los Angeles. Writer, Director and Producer of Salta (Dive), a coming of age short film that got a Jury's Mention at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, Best Short Film Award at Switzerland's oldest LGBTQ+ Festival, the Pink Apple and screened in more than 15 countries.
Her latest work, Mustache Mondays, is a one hour documentary she directed for PBS SoCal and it just screened at the Outfest Fusion 2022. She is currently writing her first feature La Barca de la Ilusión, an adaptation from a story by American author Lucia Berlin.
