Stephanie Martin

"Stephanie has worked in the film/tv/commercial industry as a Cinematographer for over twenty years. About ten years ago, she decided to turn her focus to directing and has found she loves it and fortunately, it appears others appreciate her work as she has consistently worked as a Television director for the past three years. Stephanie most recently wrapped directing two episodes for the CW show WALKER. Previously, she directed multiple episodes of THE RESIDENT, for Fox and WALKER for the CW. Stephanie is a graduate of the AFI Directing Workshop for Women program, where she co-wrote and directed her short film, WILD HORSES, which premiered and won Best Live Action Short at Palm Springs ShortFest. Stephanie was selected to be one of the Directors on the anthology feature film BERLIN, I LOVE YOU. In addition, she directed the concept trailer for Freeform’s PARTY OF FIVE. Stephanie is a fellow of both the Disney and the Sony Directing Programs. Stephanie Martin credits her visually charged directorial voice to her background in Cinematography. Originally from Argentina, Stephanie got her start as a set lighting technician on independent films before becoming a Cinematographer. As a Cinematographer, she has worked on numerous features, documentaries and commercials as well as as working as an Operator and 2nd Unit DP on mainstream features (such as WORLD WAR Z and EAT PRAY LOVE).
