Jo Rochelle

Jo Rochelle is a screenwriter and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. Both of her parents were born and raised in Jamaica before they moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jo attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she was a Drama major. She's an alum of Teach for America Mississippi. Her short film, "Sirens", screened at several festivals, including the Pan African Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Narrative Short. Her feature film, "Jasmine Is A Star" is currently on the festival circuit. Jo is repped by Anonymous Content, and is a writer for Good Trouble on Freeform.
