Flavia Neves
Born in Goiânia, Brazil in 1982, she studied film at the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro and at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión in Cuba. She wrote and directed the documentary series “Amanajé, o mensageiro do futuro”, which portrayed 13 Indigenous groups from the central-western region of Brazil. “Fogaréu”, her debut feature film, was premiered at the Berlin Film Festival 2022. At the moment, Flávia develops her second feature, "Tempo do Poder".
