Jennie Kong

Jennie is an award-winning Asian-British film writer/director and video games narrative writer. Born in Hong Kong, she was raised in Cheshire, England (birthplace of Lewis Carroll) where she spent her youth chasing tales of the fantastic. Her body of work has primarily centred around outlier characters whose journeys are brought to life through tales of magical realism, dystopia, hope and compassion. She is best known for directing 'The Game Makers' docu-series, fantasy/drama shorts ('Made By Maggie,' 'The Resolution') and multiple music videos (for The Filharmonic, and Stan Lee's World of Heroes). Jennie is also an established video game narrative writer on the ground-breaking 'Sky' (TGC/Apple) and 'Desta' (ustwo/Netflix). Jennie started her Film/TV career assisting film directors on productions for Netflix, HULU and Amazon. She is an alumni of the Women In Film Mentorship Program (LA), and film recipient of the Institute of Contemporary Arts Mentorship (London).
