Joanne Williams is the producer/director/writer of the award winning documentary film "The Exchange. In White America. Kaukauna & King 50 Years Later"

She was the host and segment producer for Milwaukee Public Television's "Black Nouveau" which won a regional EMMY in 2018.

She was nominated for daytime EMMY for the television project “The Disabled Are Able”. She worked in television news for 40+ years before venturing out as an independent filmmaker.
