Liz Lachman
Liz Lachman is an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter.
Her first feature documentary, “Susan Feniger. FORKED,” a culinary disaster film, won Audience Award for Best Feature Documentary at the Chicago Reeling festival, was called “wildly entertaining” by Forbes and was #2 on the “5 Favorite Things About the Austin Film Festival” (#1 was Saltburn).
Liz’s other films, a short psychological thriller, PIN-UP, starring Angela Sarafyan (Westworld) and Christina Chang (The Good Doctor), won 30 festival awards and is now in beginning stages of development on the feature. Her short gay romantic comedy, GETTING TO KNOW YOU, starring Dana Delaney and Ian Gomez, won 9 festival awards.
As a writer, she has twice been a Quarter Finalist and a Top 15% in the ACADEMY NICHOLL Screenplay Competition, Semifinalist and Quarter Finalist in the PAGE Screenplay Awards, and Semi Finalist in the FINAL DRAFT Screenplay Competition.
Liz’s music past includes an EMMY Award for music composition and a GOLDEN REEL Award as a music editor.
Liz’s favorite things are Alfa Romeos and comic books. So yes, she’s actually a 12-year-old boy.
