Paula Froehle is a director with a strong visual style shaped by her years as a visual artist and filmmaker, collaborator and mentor. She has directed and produced films for over 30 years. As a filmmaker Paula has directed 12 films and 20+ media projects, including “The Faraway Nearby,” which premiered at DocVille Belgium in March 2024. A producer, director and entrepreneur based in Chicago, Paula is also the CoFounder and CEO of Chicago Media Project (CMP) - the innovative multifaceted philanthropic community of documentary film lovers who believe in the power of media to bring about social change.
