Whose Story?

Private Mixer for Film Fatales and A-Doc Members

August 27th 2021

Members of Film Fatales and A-Doc joined together for a free private networking mixer for filmmakers of all backgrounds.

Thank you for joining us in a conversation exploring authentic authorship and the importance of the filmmaker’s point of view. How are filmmakers getting their films made in the current climate? What is our responsibility as artists in light of the disturbing rise in anti-Asian American hate crimes? How can we expand the language of storytelling to be more inclusive?
We began with a guided group discussion led by Film Fatales and A-Doc members Eunice Lau and Theresa Loong before dividing up into breakout groups for meaningful conversations based on a series of guided prompts.
