Rodes Phire’s journey began in L.A. as both a child and young adult actor, where an early passion for performance and narrative took root. She has a B.A. in Theatre from the University of California, Irvine. Rooted in her urban upbringing in East Los Angeles and shaped by her formative years in Orange County’s affluent suburbs, Rodes brings a distinctive, unfiltered voice to her work – grounded, authentic, and emotionally resonant. She holds an MFA in Screenwriting from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and studied intensively at Steppenwolf West. As a producer, she has spearheaded a multitude of feature films across a range of genres, with many premiering at top-tier festivals. Her directorial debut, Farewelling is a cinematic and heartfelt exploration of grief and connection. Off-screen, Rodes is a passionate advocate for community and wellness. She actively supports Alzheimer’s research, and mentors young women through The New Hollywood.
