Aycil Yeltan

Director/Screenwriter /Actress /Musician Yeltan’s first feature film, “Fidan,” started its festival journey recently and won 2 awards at the 61`st International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. "Fidan" also premiered in Europe at 46`th Cinemed, Festivals Cinema Mediterraneen Montpellier, France. While making, The film was granted “First Feature Film Support” by the Ministry of Culture, Turkiye, A film score award in Marseille, France, A pitching award at Fest Pitching Forum in Portugal, and A prize for post-production in the work-in-progress program at the 29`th Med Film Festival in Rome.

Her second short film, “Topanga,” won 6 awards in global film competitions + film festivals, including 2 Audience Awards for Best Short Film between 2019 and 2020.

She earned her MFA at CalArts in acting with a scholarship and appeared in numerous stage, film, and TV productions in İstanbul, New York, Hamburg, and Los Angeles. Ayçıl writes, directs, and produces films and continues her acting career on screen and stage internationally. She also earned a degree in Music and recorded with distinguished musicians.
