C Fitz
Director C. Fitz embodies the true definition of a multi-hyphenated modern artist as a director / writer / producer working in every landscape Hollywood encompasses. She has produced hundreds of commercials all over the world as well as worked in the unscripted TV space, notably as a development producer of BRAVO’s QUEER EYE and a showrunner for DISNEY’s KNOCK FIRST for five seasons (104 episodes).
Her talents as a director were first recognized and celebrated in the short film space and then in the journalism and documentary spaces as she won multiple awards for her work including her recent feature documentary JEWEL'S CATCH ONE (NETFLIX). Her film celebrates the legacy of nightclub owner & LGBTQ activist JEWEL Thais Williams and the oldest Black owned disco in America. This project caught the eye of one of Hollywood's biggest icons Ava DuVernay, who's company, ARRAY, became the distributor of the impactful award-winning film. Next DuVernay invited Fitz to direct an episode of the trailblazing OWN series QUEEN SUGAR. That collaboration lead to Fitz’s latest TV work directing the first season of the highly anticipated groundbreaking unscripted hybrid series, HBO MAX's ONE PERFECT SHOT.
Fitz is also a working commercial director recently directing several campaigns for McDonald’s and City National Bank.
She is repped at Kaplan Stahler by Michael Kolodny, managed by Erwin More, and excited to direct more episodic TV currently developing her first feature film.
