CJ Crim
Cheryl Jacobs (CJ) Crim has been creating award-winning documentaries and television specials for 30 years. She started at WCPO in Cincinnati, before becoming a series producer at New Jersey Public Television. At New York Television (NYTV), she she produced and directed ESPN's LPGA Magazine, the first national television series dedicated to women’s sports. A move to Liverpool, England allowed her to direct throughout Europe. Now living in Sandy Spring, Maryland, her passion is creating films that make a difference. Cheryl has been honored with dozens of awards including a gold medal at the New York Film Festival, Two Silver Telly’s, and 12 Regional Emmys. Her 2020 feature film, RESISTERHOOD, a documentary about the power of women, hope, and resistance won 14 festival awards including five Best Documentary, two Best of Fest, two Audience Choice, and one for Best Director. She is currently working on a feature documentary called REBRANDING PEACE.
