Dani Kind
Dani Kind is an award-winning Canadian actress and director best known for her seven-season leading role as Anne on the two-time Emmy-nominated Netflix/CBC hit Workin’ Moms. Her performance earned multiple Canadian Screen Award nominations, including a 2024 nod for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy, alongside Catherine O’Hara. Dani is also widely recognized for her role in the People’s Choice Award–winning series Wynonna Earp, which she recently reprised in Wynonna Earp: Vengeance for Tubi.
Her recent television work includes a six-episode recurring role on Tubi’s Z-Suite opposite Lauren Graham, as well as a guest-starring turn opposite Debra Winger in Fox’s anthology series Accused. On the feature side, Dani starred opposite Peter Sarsgaard in Veena Sud’s The Lie for Blumhouse, which premiered at TIFF, and led Blue Ice Pictures’ thriller The Banana Splits. She also received the Best Actress award for her performance in the short film Yellow Lines.
In addition to her acting career, Dani is an accomplished director. Her short film Capsule marked a strong directorial debut, followed by Signs, which won first place at the Canadian Film Festival. She has directed episodes of Workin’ Moms for Netflix and We Three Queens for OUTtv, and recently helmed a music video for beloved Canadian band The Strumbellas. A lifelong storyteller with a gift for finding light in the dark, Dani Kind continues to build a dynamic body of work that explores the full spectrum of the human experience—both in front of and behind the camera.
