Marlene Edoyan is a Montreal-based documentary film director and producer, she founded her production company Fauve Film in 2012. Fauve Film specializes in creative feature documentary productions and supports author-driven social and political projects that have a unique vision. With a focus on telling stories of lesser-known communities, the films explore complex issues by combining original point of view with strong cinematographic storytelling. With a background in film and media studies, Marlene started her career as an artistic director for internationally co-produced animated films. For the last 15 years, Marlene has been working in the Canadian Film industry, creating and collaborating with award winning filmmakers and producers on documentaries for television, festivals and theatrical release. She regularly participates in international workshops and labs such as EURODOC, SODEC\_Lab@CPH:DOX, Astra Film Lab and CinéDOC Tbilisi. She is a programmer at the RIDM (The Montreal Documentary Film Festival) as well as Tënk Canada, an online streaming platform.
