Rodes Phire

A third generation storyteller, Rodes Phire loves to tell a good tale. An LA native, she grew up a child actor working on shows like “The Wonder Years,” and “Rags to Riches.” After years spent performing in front of the camera and on-stage, she went on to earn her bachelors in theater and a minor in playwriting from the highly-acclaimed, Claire Trevor School of Arts at the University of Irvine. It’s her love for life and for living that adds a unique depth and perspective to the films she makes, from her inner-city childhood in East Los Angeles to her later years in the affluent Orange County suburban community, Rodes infuses a raw realism to her projects. She’s studied acting at Steppenwolf West, received her Masters in Screenwriting from the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts, works regularly with several non-profits and when she’s not dedicated to the craft of filmmaking, she’s perfecting her martial arts or yoga. Her projects have premiered at acclaimed festivals including, Cleveland, Soho and Dances with Films. In 2020 Rodes produced “Never Forgotten,” a thriller available on AppleTV and Amazon and her directorial debut “Farewelling,” is scheduled for a theatrical release late 2023.
