Sassy Mohen's innovative, bold, confident style has emerged as a pioneer in female-driven storytelling. She has directed, written, and produced multiple award-winning Films, TV Pilots, Music Videos, Commercials, and Web Series. 

Her multiple award-winning hot topic comedy satire How to Hack Birth Control, which she directed & wrote has been called "Wickedly Funny and Charmingly Scathing" by IndieShorts Magazine. Sassy and How to Hack Birth Control (2022) have smashed the festival circuit with official selections at over 70 festivals, and has won over 25 awards and 10 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Series. In 2023, the City of West Hollywood voted unanimously to endorse the project and has set up special screening events for its community. The project has also picked up endorsements from Reproductive Freedom for All (NARAL,) SheNYC Arts & Truth be Told. 

Her previous short film Fear Actually (2020) was released to rave reviews and won 3 Best Female Director Awards. FX Network tapped her to direct for their online web channel, This is AOK.  Due to popular demand, her first independent feature film Happy Holidays (2007) was digitally re-mastered in 2024 and recently re-released in theaters & Amazon Prime.

Sassy recently directed Jellysmack’s drama series Supermission, TikTok series Hot Mess, online commercials for Kraft, Budlight & Barbie, and is development for her next feature film a post-Roe Texas abortion road trip story, along with other film projects.
