Shana Stein
Shana Stein is a veteran of the film and television industry, having produced successful television shows and independent films. Stein is the Executive Producer on the Starz hit series ”Power.” She made her directorial debut in Season 6 - helming two episodes 606 “Inside Man” and 610 “No One Can Stop Me.” Prior to “Power,” Stein co-executive produced CBS’s Unforgettable and four seasons on the CW drama, “90210.” She also served as Co-Producer on the USA Network original series “Monk,” which she worked on for seven seasons. On the big screen, Stein produced Hell Ride which was presented and executive produced by Quentin Tarantino. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was distributed by Dimension Films. She also produced the indie film, Restaurant starring Academy Award® winner Adrien Brody and Lauryn Hill. Restaurant premiered at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and garnered an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Male Lead. Stein began her career in the iconic agent-training program at the William Morris Agency. After producing music videos, she served as Director of Development for Steve Golin’s Anonymous Content. She earned her BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and her MFA from The American Film Institute.
