Currently, 1 in 5 people in Los Angeles experience hunger. Join Film Fatales and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in the fight against hunger in our local communities. Help assemble food packages for children, families, and seniors across Los Angeles County. The food packages consist of shelf-stable food items such as grains, canned fruits and vegetables, and protein. Together, we will be sorting and packing produce for over 29,000 people who face food insecurity in Los Angeles, and we will get to know each other better in the process.
Capacity is limited to 30 people. All guests must RSVP separately in advance. Upon registration, you will receive an email confirmation with all of the logistics. Participants must be 18 and up and wear closed-toe shoes. Limited on-site parking. See you there!
Since 1973, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has distributed more than 1.9 billion pounds of food. The Food Bank collects food from hundreds of resources. With the help of hundreds of thousands of volunteers annually and an agency network of more than 600 partner agencies, we serve more than 900,000 people on a monthly basis.
