Film Fatales hosted a meetup with All Entertainment Business and YTexas for a filmmaker at the Arterie House at SXSW. We showcased the thriving nexus between the Lone Star State’s film industry and forward-thinking businesses. The guest speakers included Elizabeth Avellán from Troublemaker Studios (Producer of Spy Kids, Desperado, Sin City), Bill Vargos from Freestyle Digital Media, Catherine Gonzalez from Detour Filmproduction (Boyhood, Dazed and Confused), and notable actors such as Jae Head (The Blind Side) and Stephanie Drapeau (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), and Film Fatales member Iram Parveen Bilal (Wakhri).
