This will be a radical hour of healing and transformation designed specifically for creative warriors like you.

This workshop is about turning our collective wounds into superpowers of creativity and healing, interactive somatic practices, bite-sized neuroscience insights, community healing moments, laughter and radical self-compassion.

Panelists

Dr. Laurie Ann Perlman, Psy.D., ACMHP, is a globally recognized clinical psychologist, trauma expert, and spiritual life coach with over 30 years of experience. Starting her career as a talent agent at Creative Artists Agency, she worked with cultural icons such as Michael Jackson and Madonna before transitioning to mental health and trauma healing. Named W Magazine’s “Best New Age Healer,” Dr. Perlman has dedicated her life to addressing intergenerational trauma through innovative approaches. As the founder and CEO of HERE Global, Dr. Perlman has pioneered digital trauma treatments deployed worldwide, including the HERE app, which integrates neuroscience with meditation, music, and color therapy. Her work extends to managing Moonview Sanctuary, where she led multidisciplinary teams in providing holistic care to high-performing individuals. Currently, she explores plant medicine as a transformative tool for healing trauma. Dr. Perlman is also the author of God, the Universe, and Where I Fit In and Life in Life: A Meditation Journal, which emphasize resilience and self-discovery. She has appeared on platforms such as MSNBC and The View to share her expertise.

Magdalena Albizu is a distinguished writer, director, producer, and the owner of NubianLatina Productions. Initially embarking on her career as a social worker, she sought to channel her creative aspirations, leading to a successful transition into the media industry. Since this career shift, Magdalena has continuously worked across various media platforms. She directed and produced the documentary film *NEGRITA*, which delves into the experiences of Afro-Latinas in the United States, examining the impact of their skin color within both American and Latino cultures. *NEGRITA* has garnered significant acclaim, being screened at over seven film festivals, including a sold-out showing at Lincoln Center. NubianLatina Productions is currently engaged in the production of multiple projects, further solidifying its presence in the industry.
