Ghostapus
GHOSTAPUS: Imagine a world where ghost-octopuses, handsome lighthouse keepers, indigenous tribes, Goths, and bad-ass stewardesses fight evil, polluting frackers!
GHOSTAPUS: Imagine a world where ghost-octopuses, handsome lighthouse keepers, indigenous tribes, Goths, and bad-ass stewardesses fight evil, polluting frackers!
GHOSTAPUS: It's an octopus that's a GHOST! A paranormal monster from the deep terrorizes a small coastal community after it is unleashed by a corrupt gas company doing illegal fracking. A grieving local lighthouse keeper becomes a hero when a storm hits his village, causing an airplane full of stewardesses to crash. He soon embarks on an adventure he never bargained for. But he guards his heart from stewardesses like he guards his seaside community from spectral monsters: 99%. As Native tribes and protesters gather to shut down the illegal fracking, Ghostapus goes on a rampage, tearing human victims apart and eating them like beef jerky. She uses deep-sea telepathy to set the evil humans against each other. But for what? Behind the seemingly sinister monster lies the truth: the creature is not evil; she and her babies were murdered by the gas company and its toxic dumping. The only beings Ghostapus can successfully communicate with are a local neurodivergent girl, a tribal chief, and a teenage Goth. Can the tight-knit community weather the storm of corruption, greed, fear, and a giant angry-mom-octopus-ghost? Can they save themselves from each other? Can the single, attractive lighthouse keeper guard his heart from an equally, if-not-more-attractive and vivacious "bad-girl" stewardess with a secret CIA past?
