Synopsis

HANNAH, THE LESBIAN begins in the summer of 1996 when Raven (21) flees the midwest to escape her abusive boyfriends, yes plural. Raven ends up in Portland where she meets a single father, Nathan (30) but continues to see other people whenever she can. She has a problem with monogamy, you see. She’s a Leo after all. It’s not her fault. Now we call it polyamory, then she might just be called a whore. Either way, Raven was determined to have her cake and eat it too. When Nathan starts up his band again and a young woman, a lesbian named Hannah, starts coming to practices every night, Raven finds herself questioning herself, her relationships and her place in the world. When Raven moves to LA for the summer and takes a job on a reality TV show, she doesn’t expect that Hannah and Nathan will end up together and that she will end up alone in LA without a job, a place to live or anyone to have sex with. Raven thought she knew everything, she’s about to find out just how clueless she is.
