Synopsis

I NEED A MARTINI tells the little known story of Anita Martini as she breaks down barrier after barrier as a sports journalist in 1970s Houston, TX. She struggles not only with farcical misogyny from her colleagues, but also with her own distaste for being perceived as a feminist. Based on a true story of triumph and tragedy, Anita sacrifices more and more until she is forced to confront the cost of winning.
