Synopsis
Cass is an up and coming DJ and Legynd is a local hot girl who scammed her way into winning a Detroit’s Belle Island. Though they cohabitate and look good as a couple, they haven’t been seeing eye to eye for a while. It’s a relationship on the brink of collapse.
Their relationship takes a turn after a final flop date on the 4th of July where they decide to break up. The next day, they awaken to find that their island home is entrapped by an odd contraption of algae that’s turned into glowing green goo.
Armed with Kenny’s Preppin & Steppin 9th edition emergency survival guide, Cass and Legynd gather supplies, search for others on the island, and try to figure out what they need to survive. Inspired by the journey of Noah’s Arc, In Case of Apocalypse takes us through the ecosystem that built this relationship: the families, the music, their love, and history. The question is what from their past do they save in order to survive their future?
