When an MIT dream scientist’s experiment spirals into scandal, she must confront the unresolved grief of her father’s death and the cosmic wisdom of her astrologer mother - who predicted it all.
When an MIT dream scientist’s experiment spirals into scandal, she must confront the unresolved grief of her father’s death and the cosmic wisdom of her astrologer mother - who predicted it all.
Vega Joshi, a brilliant neurodivergent neuroscientist from India, arrives at MIT to decode dream patterns - driven by recurring nightmares of her father’s suicide. When a research scandal derails her work and the academic establishment dismisses her findings as pseudoscience, Vega finds herself echoing the same skepticism she’s long held toward her astrologer mother. As her mother rises to unexpected prominence and reveals she foresaw her husband’s death but chose silence, Vega is forced to confront whether science and prophecy are truly opposites. In returning to the dream she’s tried to control, Vega learns that acceptance—not certainty—is the breakthrough she’s been chasing.
