PUPPY LOVE: TAILS OF THE CITY explores this deeper meaning of rescue through the real stories of New Yorkers and their adopted dogs, showing how these connections inspire us to show up with more kindness, responsibility, and love. After all, the goal is simple: to become the person your dog already believes you are.
Director Identity
Bio
Lulu Men (director/producer/editor) a New York–based filmmaker, originally from China and Singapore. Her debut feature documentary, Voices of Deoli, premiered at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival (LAAPFF) and continues its festival run at the Chelsea Film Festival 2025. The film is available for streaming on Tubi and for educational distribution through New Day Films. Lulu was one of the producers of the Academy Award–winning documentary American Factory. She has participated in Docs for Sale at IDFA 2024 and INTRO:DOX at CPH:DOX 2025. A proud member of A-Doc (Asian American Documentary Network), BGDM (Brown Girls Doc Mafia) and Film Fatales, Lulu is dedicated to storytelling that fosters healing, amplifies underrepresented voices, and drives meaningful social change.
