A Gothic Horror story about a young woman, Elise Mallory, who finds herself forcefully admitted into an all-girl asylum with a haunted past. The hospital itself, located in a small town in New England, has a brutal legacy of torturing its patients and burying the evidence. Elise, who is unstable and clairvoyant, lives with violent and unhealthy girls who bully her constantly. Descending into madness, she becomes a catalyst for the most terrifying of spirits who have lived in the house for decades. This is a supernatural horror story in the style of Stranger Things with elements of coming-of-age teen angst. It’s like Girl Interrupted but with ghosts.
