WHEREVER THE NIGHT MAY LEAD tells the story of a Saturday nights in New York City where nightclub promoters Gia, Franklin and Dante are getting ready for a big night. While Franklin and Dante work on securing buyers for tables, Gia rounds up her group of models and party girls eager for a night out. All is going according to plan until the trios most sought after girl, April, crashes out, declaring she won’t be going to the club and throwing a wrench in the evening plans. Determined to right the ship, Gia investigates only to learn that April has been engaged in a love affair with the city’s most notorious playboy Malcolm. After April suspects Malcolm of cheating on her she steals a priceless piece of jewelry from him and is determined to never see him again.
Lindsey Copeland is an NYC based writer and director originally from the first state of Delaware. After directing several short films and music videos, she made her first feature film, Girls Night, in 2013. The film played at multiple film festivals , winning Best Feature Film at the 2015 Shawna Shea Film Festival and received coverage in the Boston Globe. Her second feature, Hedgehog, starring Madeline Brewer (Hustlers, The Handmaids Tale) and Ann Dowd (Mass, The Handmaids Tale) premiered at the 2017 Cinequest Film Festival. Hedgehog is currently available for streaming on AppleTV+, Tubi, Vudu, and more. Hedgehog received the award for Best Feature Film at the 2017 LA Indie Film Festival as well as Best Director and Best Actress for Madeline Brewer at the 2017 Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. She is a member of Film Fatales, WIF, and Free the Work's Professional Network. Her feature script Madam was shortlisted for the Black List Feature Lab and selected for the 2022 Producer’s Lab with Stowe Story Labs.
