Melissa Norwood (Katie Stevens) has been building her career as a property stager in Atlanta, with hopes of opening her own business someday soon. Melissa specializes in making spaces appealing to buyers by removing anything too personal, but when she teams with realtor David Phelps (Victor Rasuk) to stage her own childhood home, getting too personal is something she may not be able to avoid.
Emily Moss Wilson has written and directed eleven films across various networks such as Hallmark, Discovery+ and Lifetime, including Christmas in Tune starring Reba McEntire that was nominated for a Hollywood Critics Association Award for best TV Movie. Her most recent projects include the holiday rom-com Rescuing Christmas starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Sam Page for Hallmark and the independent dramatic feature, Inheritance, that garnered critical and audience acclaim following a successful festival and limited theatrical run. Originally from Louisiana, Emily moved to Los Angeles with a film degree from TCU. After working for both 20th Century Fox and ABC in development and production, Emily worke alongside legendary writer/director Garry Marshall as his on-set script coordinator for the star-studded ensembles Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve. Garry became one of Emily's first directing mentors. Emily also served as Creative Executive of the ATX Television Festival where she was involved in programming and conceptualizing/directing original content. Her directorial debut, the Twilight Zone-inspired short DRINK, premiered to rave reviews and currently has over five million views online. Following the success of her short, Emily became a go-to director in the TV movie space, known for her ability to work with high-level talent and deliver on tight timelines and ambitious budgets. In addition to shadowing veteran television directors like Norman Buckley, Helen Shaver, and Allison Liddi-Brown, Emily was selected an "Emerging Female Director" for the WeForShe DirectHer Program and as a fellow for Ryan Murphy's Half Foundation Directing Program where she was paired with the incomparable Jamie Lee Curtis on Scream Queens. Emily is currently in development with Warner Brothers and Netflix on a sequel to the hit CW series One Tree Hill. She serves as producer on the project.
