Jamie Boyle is a two-time Emmy® Award-winning filmmaker. She is a Sundance Institute, IDA, and NYSCA-supported artist, a DOC NYC 40 Under 40 recipient, and a Sundance Talent Forum fellow. Her feature directorial debut, ANONYMOUS SISTER, was released in theaters nationwide to critical acclaim, shortlisted for the IDA Best Documentary Award, and nominated for a 2024 Emmy® Award. Her additional credits include writer and editor of HOLLYWOOD DOES ABORTION (Tribeca 2026); producer and editor of KEEP QUIET AND FORGIVE (Independent Lens 2026), writer and editor of BREAKING THE NEWS (Tribeca 2023, GLAAD Award nominee for Outstanding Documentary Feature, Independent Lens), producer, cinematographer, and editor of JACKSON (Emmy® Award-winner, Showtime & HBO Max); and editor of the TRANS IN AMERICA series (Emmy® Award-winner for Outstanding Documentary Short, SXSW 2019). She has served as a guest lecturer at Brown University’s School of Public Health, Columbia University, and the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
