A strange disease is plaguing the city. Hoping to escape contamination, Eva and Sam, an estranged married couple, are forced to barricade themselves in their apartment despite the palpable tension between them. Now forced into isolation in their small living space, they struggle with their own frailty in a world that can only offer the worst horrors imaginable.
Maude Michaud is an award-winning writer-director who specializes in genre entertainment based in Montreal, Canada. Her debut feature film Dys- (released under the title At the Door) World Premiered in July 2014 at the Fantasia International Film Festival where it won the Audience Award for Best Canadian Feature. Her body of work includes over a dozen critically acclaimed short films which have toured the international festival circuit, as well as a documentary web series about women horror directors, which served as a basis for her Master’s thesis about feminist horror cinema. She is currently in development on her second feature film.
