Sylvia Caminer made her debut as a narrative feature director with the psychological thriller, Follow Her. The film traveled the world on the festival circuit winning more than 15 awards including the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival and the Grand Jury Award at Popcorn Frights and Fantasporto. Follow Her is currently streaming on Paramount+/Showtime in the USA and Netflix in Canada. It is also being released internationally in 2024.
Sylvia has produced more than a dozen award-winning indie features and is a two-time non-fiction Emmy Award winner for the popular series' She's done with travel guru, Samantha Brown. She also directed the feature documentaries An Affair of the Heart with Rick Springfield and Tanzania A Journey Within.
Sylvia produces through her company, DolGer Films, a fifteen-year venture giving her the freedom to produce and direct passion projects including the upcoming docu project 2bMe which explores gender and biological sex in an increasingly hostile world. Other projects include: the elevated horror film, It Walks Among Us, written by Will Davis which she will direct and produce with David Higgins (Hard Candy). and co-authoring a screenplay based on the Sci-fi time-travel novel And Then She Vanished, by UK author Nick Jones. This is the first of a seven-part series of books.
