A mysterious young woman materializes in the middle of the southwestern desert, where each step teaches her about her new world and her new body. As she assumes her new life, she discovers she has a twin with whom she shares more than just an outward appearance.
Natasha Kermani is an Iranian-American writer and director based out of Los Angeles, and the co-founder of independent production company Illium Pictures. Kermani’s credits include Shudder Original LUCKY (SXSW ’20) and science-fiction feature film IMITATION GIRL (FrightFest ‘17), and the upcoming EMPIRES OF EXCESS for The History Channel. She is currently adapting Joe Hill’s short story ABRAHAM’S BOYS with producing outfit Tea Shop. Outside film and television, Natasha is a violinist who enjoys playing live shows with local bands and ensembles.
