Sonia (Cristin Milioti), a neurotic and charming jingle writer, dreams of having an exciting life. The sudden marriage proposal and subsequent ultimatum from her easygoing boyfriend (Dan Soder) force Sonia to confront whether she wants to join the ranks of her married friends or pursue her fantasies.
Sasha Gordon is an award-winning filmmaker and composer. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Sasha immigrated to the US in 1989. Sasha has scored over 50 features and shorts (among them the Oscar-winning “God Of Love”); directed several award-winning shorts (including “Manhattan Melody”, which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and went on to play all over the world); and is thrilled to have just completed her debut feature, “It Had To Be You”, a subversive romantic comedy starring Cristin Milioti and Dan Soder. Sasha is currently scoring Amazon’s “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life On Normal Street” and writing her next feature.
