In "SAME-SEX ATTRACTED", two filmmakers follow a handful of their fellow LGBTQ and Same-Sex Attracted peers at Mormon-owned Brigham Young University (BYU) as rumors of a potential relationship between the school’s only unofficial LGBTQ student group and the administration bubble up from the underground queer communities around campus.
Maddy received a degree in Media Arts from BYU. Her first feature doc “Same-Sex Attracted” (2020) premiered at Salt Lake’s elite queer festival—notably, amidst COVID—and is continuing to screen and receive awards across the globe. She loves all aspects of filmmaking and has an unbeatable work ethic in each of the major filmmaking roles. At 25, her budding career includes credits on several other successful films, including: God Bless the Child (2015); DREAMers (2018); and Mother, Mother (2018). Maddy is currently editing another feature doc (TBA) alongside another known Film Fatale, Holly Tuckett.
