Framed for the murder of her best friend’s husband, Jess is ripped from her safe life and shunted into the danger and violence of the state prison system. She learns to adapt under the guidance of her wisened cellmate, but when desperation and the perfect opportunity combine, the two women escape from their work detail and go on the run. Jess returns home to her husband, Matt, who hides a dark secret and wrestles with turning her in, but ultimately agrees to flee alongside her. While hiding from the authorities, Jess soon uncovers a web of deceit that leads her to believe Matt was the one who framed her. Little does she know, however, that her best friend, Lori, murdered her own husband and framed Jess. As things turn deadly, Jess must find a way to prove her innocence and tangle with Lori, the real murderer who has been hiding in the open all along.
