Inspired by true events. A young tourist is abducted from her family into the jungles of Trinidad by a dangerous, armed sociopath. While the authorities and her family attempt to find her with no success, she is forced to mentally and physically outmaneuver her captor in an effort to stay alive and escape to safety.
Darisha is an award winning Caribbean/American filmmaker and television producer. She recently made her feature film directorial debut with The Cutlass, an English language Caribbean narrative and first of its kind to land distribution throughout multiple North American VOD platforms. She has produced television content for networks such as Discovery, MTV, ESPN and A&E.
