Debra Markowitz was the creator of the Nassau County Film Commission and ran it for 33 years. She is a co-founder and continues to run the Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE) since 1998. Debra is an award winning writer and director who has directed many short films, a pilot and three episodes of series, Couple of Guys. Her first feature, The Only Woman in the World, is on Prime Video, Tubi, the Alice Channel on Xumo, etc. Debra is also an author of a novella trilogy (Naked in the Rain, Sarah and Caleb and Karmic Wind). Debra is a certified Reiki Master.
