Heidi is a producer, writer, actress, and director with twenty-five years of professional experience in international film, theater, television and communications--including films such as Bend It Like Beckham, Salt, The Other Guys, Tower Heist, Premium Rush, and, more recently, Uncharted, Pagan's Peak III (Sky TV Series) and The Gryphon (Amazon Series). A classically trained actress, she has transitioned easily from stage to film and has commercial work, features, and voice-over work under her thespian belt. Her ability to know and communicate with fellow actors with ease has led to a career in directing—short films, regional commercials and, of late, feature films. Her experience in producing, from intl. Broadcast TV (DW-TV) to segments in US television (Rachel Ray), as well as working her way up the production management ladder in feature films such as The Sisterhood of Night, Katie FForde Series, The Better Angels, and many commercials has prepared her for producing her own films. Impressionable highlights include interning for acclaimed German arthouse director, Wim Wender’s Road Movies, GmbH in Berlin. Heidi has just completed post for her directorial debut feature "Love & Vodka," which she produced via her company Personae Entertainment Pictures, and is just beginning the film festival circuit, and her first feature film, "Darcy", which she co-directed, produced and acted in (now streaming on Apple TV, Hulu, Amazon Prime & Herflix.com). She holds a BA in Film, Theater & Germany Literature via the University of Michigan's Residential College, a Certificate in Directing & Cinematography from the Motion Picture Institute, an MIA in Intl. Media & Communications from Columbia Univ.'s School of Public & Intl. Affairs, an MBA in Mgmt from Eastern Michigan Univ., and is pursuing her MBA in European Film Business from Konrad-Wolf School of Film & TV at Bablesberg Univ. in Germany.
