Synopsis

MARTHA'S MUSTANG follows a single mother in her 40s who owns a struggling auto body shop where she not only has to prove that she knows her business as good as any man (or better) to keep the lights on, but also fight City Hall to keep a hot pink Mustang, filled with wildflowers, as part of her Shop's sign after the City declares it a violation of the Junk Car Ordinance - an Ordinance that is only enforced when someone complains. So, who is out to get Martha? A disgruntled customer, an unhappy employee, a competitor...all of the above? Throw in Martha’s angsty teenage son, her estranged ex, and the return of an old flame, and Martha finds herself struggling to survive. Inspired by true events that gained national attention and divided the town of Baytown, TX in 1994.
