Synopsis
Hayley and her daughter Betty move into a house they bought at a cash discount. They were victims in a London tube bombing. Hayley's husband lost his life. Betty, whose training for the Paralympics, lost her leg. The locals are a lesbian couple, Bryony and Lalli who invite them to dinner and sailing. Hayley sees a strange drenched man in the house, but she puts it down to her grief and insomnia. Betty's school friends visit but one of them drowns after she's pulled under the water while swimming. Betty's biological father shows up and he too disappears in the sea. As the strangeness grows they realise that it all has to do with Victor - the drenched man - who built and lived in the house before them. It's Bryony he wants for seducing his wife who he drowned in the bath with their six year old daughter, Poppy. In the end Bryony sacrifices herself to Victor in a dramatic showdown.
