Based on Ari Seth Cohen’s famed blog of the same name, this film paints intimate and colorful portraits of independent, stylish women aged 62 to 95 who are challenging conventional ideas about beauty, aging, and Western culture’s increasing obsession with youth.
Lina Lyte Plioplyte is a Lithuanian-born documentary filmmaker and cameraperson, living and working between the USA and Mexico. Her colorful work has been acknowledged with an Emmy, a Silver Lion, and a Clio. Her films have been showcased at SXSW, IDFA, and The Venice Biennale, and streamed on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, PBS, and MSNBC.
