When three best friends get a last minute invitation to an 80’s prom-themed wedding, they’re suddenly catapulted into a desperate tailspin to land dates. They’ve got one week to track down their perfect guys and turn them into plus-ones. As our three heroines embark on this empowered mission to take control of their dating lives, they quickly discover, “It ain’t that easy.” Lucy meets Graham, the sexy guitar teacher, and is instantly smitten. But before she can pop the question, his girlfriend shows up and Lucy’s romantic fantasy of riding off into the sunset is instantly quashed. Ryann sets her sights on her longtime crush and local bartender, Chris. Fueled by the wedding invitation and a few shots of tequila, courage comes easily. Nectar is determined to find “Mr. Right” by hitting on every eligible bachelor she meets. It’s a numbers game. With the wedding looming, these three underdog best friends will need to bare it all, support each other, and be willing to leap to find love.

The film premiered on the film festival circuit to packed houses at the Palm Beach International Film Festival and racked up several awards, including Best Comedy, Best Screenplay and Best Actress. TWI was distributed by Freestyle Releasing and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. Rainy's next film, "Movie" is a dark and twisted elevated horror that is slated to shoot later this year. She is both the writer and director. Rainy is an actors’ director and loves working with talent. She honed her directing skills during eight years on staff at a film and TV acting conservatory in Los Angeles. She’s coached and directed over 1000 actors in both dramatic and comedic pieces. Performance is paramount to Rainy, and her goal, in any genre, is always to find the intention and the truth of the scene. Through the lens, Rainy captures rich frames, allowing her set locations and production design to play a character in her films. She is the founder of It’s Raining Films, both a US and Canadian citizen, and a proud member of the Film Fatales. A lover of all things funny, Rainy is known as a bit of a prankster.
